The link that I have provied above will tel you the pros an cons of having free college in the U.S. It is very useful resources and it hel me support my topic for my research paper. I chose this topic because it stood out to me the most i believe college should be free because it will benefit the nation. We need degrees and certificates to get better paying jobs. People would have more freedom with their talents and not worry about being in dept all the time. People would lead and live a proper anf happier life without worring about to pay back a loan. And people might stay in school and actually comeplete it. Cause every semester we have to constantly appy for a student loan for students who cant afford to pay for class and believe me classes and text books aren't cheap it's a decent amount of money to pay for a collge education.
College should be free for those who want to further their education. In reality your not getting nowhere working at a minumim wage job making 7.25 an hour isn't going to pay the bills or help you get an apartment and pay of the utilities. Not only free education can benefit the idivuals but it can also give back to the econimy. Students would actually stay in their studies instead of worring about scraping up loan after loan each semester and be ready to graduate on time. I would have been out of college if the finacial aid didnt drop me out of my classes all because i needed to put my parents income info down. It gets quiet frustrating after awhile but i wanted to further my education this is the risk i have to take being stuck in dept just to get my nursing certificate then so be it. I would have been graduated if college was free i started in 2014 and 2015 then i couldnt get back in because of the finacial aid renewing constantly the system getting more strict every time i put my info in. Its frustratining enought for the students trying to get into college. The pros of having free education is students would actually stay in school and graduate on time and focous on getting their degree so it can help out the econonmy. Also to help lower rates of student dept and they don't have to owe any money to the goverment. The Cons of having free college the goverment wont be able to provide any type of funds, but thats the goverment for you always want to penny pintch everyones pockets. Even with college being free nothing is free. The goverment would have to decrease military budgets and increasing the tax rates on America's wealthiest millinares and billionares and diverting the publics money to free education nation wide.
In my opinion i think college in the US and everywhere else should be free. Not a lot of students can afford or be eligable for finiancial aid. And classes and books arent cheap, some students have to pay out of pocket just to afford classes, its messed up because in the US when use a loan to pay for all of your classes and if you drop out or graduate out of college you have within six months to find a job and to start paying your loan off. While in another country you can go to a college for free and be dept free and affortable. Being in dept with a student loan is a huge pain were stuck paying back money until we hit like our 40s and 50s paying these loans back in the US. This would be a great idea for the US to think about especially for people my age going to college its not easy but we need to further our education to get a better jobs/carees but how can we get a job within six months after you graduate most jobs wont even hire you when you dont have no type of experince in the field your in, for example my oldest sister went to school to become a medical assistan she has her degree and her certificate but every time she applied to places they kept turning her down telling her she needs 2 to 3 years of medical assitance experince and until this day she still paying back her student loan she still hasn't found a job in her field yet now she's just working for the school distrect. Student dept isn't a joke its a terrifying thing especially when you dont have a job to even start making payments. College should be affortable for those who want to further their education matter of fact the education system alone should be free our parents spent most of their lives paying for our education even in college our parents are still paying for us we just by using our parents income tax info is the only way in the US to get into college their tax info is what makes students eligable for college.
Michael Moore travel outside of the US to other countries to invade and to seek information that he can bring back from their country to the US and give the US some of the ideas from other countries. To explain the difference between other countries, the other countries stand united and work together, to solve their problems. The US seems to be divivded, but The countries outside the US care about their citzens and employees they get paid vacations but US citizens dont get a paid day off. Countires like Italy believe in paying their employees while they are on vacations it relieves stress and the company doesnt mind giving them paid vactions In our country we only get 16 non-paid vacation days. Where to Invade Next.
When I was little I liked going to church every morning. I was about two or three years old when me and my mom used to go to church.Churches have a tradition as well, girls and women had to wear skirts and dresses, while the men wear suites. At that age I didn't mind wearing dresses I was a kid so it didn't really bother me. When I started hitting my pre-teen stage I was more of a tomboy I wanted to wear pants more then skirts and dresses. They have this saying when you go to church "come as you are" but the tradition is still there for women and girls to wear skirts. Me as a tomboy i got tired of wearing skirts and dresses all year round. If the saying is come as you are why can't women wear pants to church?. Thats what I never really understood I'm a Christian I like to wear pants. It gets cold outside I'm not coming to church wearing tights and skirt knowing that it freezing out. It doesn't hurt to wear pants to church. So i broke out of the tradition who wants to keep wearing skirts and dresses just for a morning church service. But me and my mom no longer go to church, because she got caught up in her financial situation so we just stop going to church. Now we only go to church to help out with the brotherhood breakfast we cook and pre-pare the breakfast as the church service is going on upstairs. I broke out of the tradition because it wasn't my style i want to be comfortable when i go to church not feel like I can be easily violated, and I don't like when the could air goes through my tights or when the wind blows my skirt even with shorts under them. Then once i stopped wearing skirts i notice all the women and little girls that i went to church with started wearing pant's instead of dresses and skirts. Because wearing pants doesn't be-little you as a christian its a religion tradition but it isn't mandatory to keep wearing skirts either. So ever since then all the women and girls started wearing pants to church services its not always about how you dress it the fact that you make an effort to come to church and still believe in him weather you go to church or not i don't go to church anymore because os school an work but i am a very spritrial person.
At first she was unsure whether she wanted the abortion or not she felt as though if she gets the abortion her life would be a lot easier so she can live a better life and leave the relationship behind. She felt as though if she got the abortion things would go back to the way they were, or if she kept the baby she would have lost the relationship with her husband. It all started in the last week of August just before I started going to school I received a text message from my boyfriend. It said that we need to talk an I replied ok. Whenever I get a text like that it never anything good, but I just dealt with it anyway. I already knew he wanted to break up with me, when I wanted to call the relationship off he didn't want me to leave him. So I approached his house the fence is green and the grass is well cut with stones surrounding the front lawn a nice cozy bench on the right side of the lawn a little cobblestone walk way to get to the door, as I walk up to the door he opens it but the look on his face when he saw me didn't look happy he looked like as if he was disappointed, sad and hurt as I walk into the house we are in the inside porch there is a champagne colored coffee table and an antiue wooden rocking chair and a white bookshelf with years of being worn out and old TV inside of it lined up with VCR's and books underneath it with a glass slide able doors. There were four salon chairs with multi-colored flower patterns I took a seat in one of the salon chairs sat back and looked up at his facial expresion he look as though as if he was thinking about what he's going to say but took his time thinking about it while im sitting in the chair looking through the window across from i can see cars speed by people walking and see the entire front lawn as all of this is happening i completely spaced out of realality for a quick moment until i heard him start talking he said "I see that you finally got yourself together I finally realized that im your obstacle i was the one preventing you for a brighter future i want you to finish school and become a nurse my mom and sister can help you out when it comes to studing and i can help you with your bus fair" and i said "you're not the obstacle your actions are the obstacles how you treat me now is the full reason why i wanted to end the relationship in the first place you treated me like i was your personal whore instead of your girlfriend i only put up with your shit because i cared about you if i didn't care i would of left you along time ago but i gave myself a benefit of doubt i thought you would realize that you have a great women by your side but i realize my worth so im glad that you ended this" At first i wanted to slap the shit out of him for what he said then i thought about it that was just me being angry i learned that i had no choice but to get over it and accept it in due time I'll get over it i'd rather love myself then to be in love with a man that treats me like a whore and continue to live my life until the right one actually comes into my life and not waste my time and play with my emotions.
I agree an disagree at the same time. The reason I agree is because the family knows that NaiNai is sick but NaiNai doesn't know that she only has three months to live so they lied to keep her from ever knowing that she has cancer I think if Lulu would of told NaiNia that she has cancer NaiNai problaby would have been to busy worring about her illness then her family and to keep NaiNai from suffering. What I disagree is that they instead of throwing a goodbye party they threw a wedding party when nobody was getting married so her family lied about two things. My family had this same problem with my grandmother on my dad's side of the family. I was about twenty going on twenty-one when i heard the news from my mother telling me that my grandmother was in the hospital. My mom didnt want to tell me what caused my grandmother to be in the hospital until they sent her home. I didn't even know she was in the hospital all my mom told me was that your grandmother is home. A week later my dad told me that his mother is diagnosed with liver cancer. But she doesn't know that only me and my parents an sister do. For my grandmother to be ill she didn't seem to show it at all. She still walked around and told me stories about my dad and all of his siblings when they were kids. That was always my favorite part of visiting my grandmother listening to her stories on how she was raised, She even showed me pictures of my dad and all of his sisters when they were young. My grandmother smoked a lot of cigarettes, she told me she'd been smoking since she was a teenager, and every time she went to the doctors they couldn't find anything wrong with her you would think they would have found something wrong because of all the smoking she did. So a year goes by and my mom and dad notice that my grandmother started getting really forgetful about things, she had a hard time trying to form her words into sentences, she had dementia an me and my mom knew something wasn't right but we still kept it low, so Easter came around because her birthday landed on easter. So we threw an easter/birthday party for her, but she didn't know this was her last party. She got to see all her kids and grand kids and great grand kids even took pictures and everything. Then her dementia had gotten so bad they had to put her in a nursing home, again nobody told her that she was sick, me and my parent known for awhile the rest of the family didn't know she was sick. I wanted to tell her so bad but i just kept it to myself, because i don't want to scare anybody or make any of the family members worry about it. Another year goes by and i am now twenty-one years old. I was coming home from work and all of a sudden i get a phone call from my mom, she crying hystarically i couldn't barely understand what she was trying to say and i hear other people in the backround crying as well, and she finally said the words "grandma passed away" I was lost with words nobody told me that she was back in the hospital again until my mom called me an told me the news. I was speechless I didn't know what to say i felt guilt, anger, saddnest, regret all at once all i could do was sit on the phone an cry. I felt like that it was my fault an my parents fault for not telling her that she was ill and not have long to live. But me and my parents made that decision and i had to respect that decision, beccause if we would of told her she wouldn't have lived as long as she did, she lived for four years since i was eight-teen until i was twenty-one that's when she passed away. Both my parents and i were glad she lived that long to see all her family smile and be happy one last time before she past i think thats what she would have really wanted. So I can completely understand where Lulu and her family are coming from.
I do agree with Margret breaking the dishes why? Because if you think about it thats an insult especially if someone is working for you why have somebody work for you an not have respect for that person just because your a high authority doesnt mean you should just giv somebody a named that they wasnt born with and disrespect them like that but back then if black people would of stood up for what was right for them they get hung thats like going to work in modern day's and time and your boss calls you another name other then the name that you were born with its lack of respect for your employees and very offensive and can be very frustrating. When I was in elementary school I was in the first or second grade. It was the first day of school and just like most schools do they do a role call and you introduce yourself to class. So as the teacher was going around calling out students names she came across mine and as she pronouce my last name the some of the kids snickerd and burst out laughing because my last name is Duncan I didn't pay it no mind because it was the first day of school. Then the next day as I started to get to know my classmates i notice nobody adress me by my first name they just kept calling me Dunkin Doughnuts and kept teasing me it was mostly the boys that teased me more then the girls this one boy named Dwayne always picked on me about my last name in fact he was the only boy that teased me the most and then the class started mimicing him one day I was in art class coloring and cutting up paper and Dwayne walks up to my table smacks all my papers on of the table and he said "I smacked all your papers on the floor what are you going to do about it Dunkin Doughnuts?" So I stood up and shouted out "my name is not dunkin doughnuts its Jeanetta!" an i picked up my papers an sat back down at my table the whole classroom was so silent the only thing you can hear is the air conditioner running even the teacher was shocked that I snapped like that because i was always quiet ever since that day all the students called me by my first name.
